The Jacob’s Ladder quilt pattern is a timeless, classic American quilt design popularized in the late 19th century. Consisting of an arrangement of four patch blocks and half square triangles (HSTs), the Jacob’s ladder quilt design is perfect for expanding the skills of any experienced quilter or advanced beginner. However; if you are new to quilting, but know how to use a sewing machine, consider joining us to work on your skills in cutting and piecing the component blocks. During the first half of the day we’ll work on precision cutting and piecing skills. After a lunch break the experienced quilters will move on to assembling the four patches and HSTs together to form the Jacob’s ladder block while the newer sewists will have the option to continue honing their piecing and machine skills of the component blocks.
