Join us for an afternoon of home cheesemaking at the beautiful Montgomery Place Orchards farm kitchen with Susan Chiappini. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to make yogurt, crème fraiche, buttermilk, and ricotta using fresh raw milk from a local Hudson Valley dairy. Participants will enjoy samples and discuss the health benefits and science behind cheesemaking.

The workshop will conclude with an optional farm walk for those who wish to explore Montgomery Place Orchards' stunning grounds and spend the rest of the afternoon in this historic property's tranquil setting.
A minimum donation of $50 is suggested for Slow Food members and $60 for non-members. Space is limited to 15 participants. Slow Food Hudson Valley is dedicated to donating the proceeds from its events to organizations that address food insecurity in the Hudson Valley.
